Steven Dewulf is of counsel in the criminal enforcement & compliance department at Eubelius.
Between 2012 and 2018, Steven was a member of the Dutch-speaking association of the Brussels Bar as a corporate criminal law lawyer at one of the Big Four accounting & consultancy firms. Between 2022 and 2023, he was registered with the Ghent Bar. Steven became of counsel at Eubelius in 2023, at which time he returned to the Brussels Bar.
He obtained his licentiate/master’s degree in law from the University of Antwerp in 2005. In 2011, he received his doctorate in law from the same university.
Steven first developed an academic career, mainly at the University of Antwerp. He is currently a full-time assistant professor in international law at the Royal Military School. He is also a part-time associate professor in international criminal law at the University of Antwerp and an Erasmus+ visiting professor of international criminal law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He is a member of various committees, councils and other bodies. Between 2018 and 2021, Steven was deputy public prosecutor and later deputy prosecutor-general on assignment in Antwerp.
He frequently publishes and regularly gives lectures on international law and criminal law topics, especially in the field of international, European and transnational criminal law and procedure.
Steven handles cases in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.
