Philippe shares responsibility for company and financial law within our firm, along with mergers and takeovers. He specialises in M&A practices, with a particular focus on joint ventures and different forms of cooperation.
He is also an experienced litigator in all areas of company law. He specialises, in particular, in shareholder disputes and procedures in which management liability is in question.
He has been a partner at Eubelius since 2002 and was a member of the management committee from 15 March 2016 until 31 December 2023. Philippe has been a member of the West Flanders Bar since 1994.
Philippe holds law degrees from the KU Leuven (1992) and the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB, 1994).
He is the postgraduate programme director in company law at VIVES business school, where he also lectures, and he is a guest lecturer at University of Leuven and the Brussels Tax College. Additionally, he is a permanent spokesperson for a number of professional associations.
He regularly speaks at seminars on company law, and has authored a number of publications related to companies.
Philippe handles cases in Dutch, French and English.
