Eubelius has assisted BNP Paribas Fortis and Matexi in setting up HappyNest, a new joint venture that offers residential real estate in a rent-to-own formula on the Belgian market. Eubelius advised the parties primarily on corporate, competition, real estate, commercial contract and tax matters.
The Eubelius team consisted of Erwin Destuyver and Michiel Stuyts (Corporate), Jan Bocken and Kim Gillade (Competition), Vincent Sagaert and Ruben Paredis (Real estate), Pieter Callens and Gilles Vandewiele (Commercial Contracts) and Korneel Decroix (Tax).
